SUP Sheltered Water Leader Training

About this course

If you want to lead groups of SUP's on both wind affected and slow moving sheltered water environments with safe, quality and enjoyable trips, then this course is for you. This two day training course will give you the skills to start getting ready for your assessment. Please note: This course will be run at two different locations. One day will be on the river, the other day will be on open water. Locations will be confirmed nearer the time. Prerequisites: Minimum Age 16, Full National Association Membership, Valid 1-day First Aid Award (recognised by British Canoeing Awarding Body), Valid Safeguarding Training (recognised by British Canoeing Awarding Body). You will also need to register with your Delivery Centre ahead of your assessment. This is not necessary for this training course.
